How the days since date calculator works
The entered date and today's local calendar date are compared at UTC calendar midnights. Complete years and months are then counted from the earlier date.

Is the start date counted?
No. The count measures whole elapsed days between the two calendar dates.
What if I enter a future date?
The result states that the date is in the future and reports the days remaining instead.
Does this track anniversaries?
It reports elapsed duration only. Complete years appear in the breakdown, which is usually what an anniversary count means.
