How the age difference calculator works
The earlier date of birth is identified first, then complete calendar years and months are counted forward to the later one, followed by the remaining days.
Counting clock time within a day rather than calendar days? Does the order I enter the dates matter?
No. The calculator identifies the earlier date and reports a positive gap either way.
Is this the same as subtracting birth years?
No. Subtracting years ignores the months and days, which can be out by almost a full year.
Are the dates saved?
No. Both values stay in this page and are not stored or sent anywhere.
